This afternoon I was sitting with Kayla on my lap playing with her. And I just happened to think about her 'one' dimple. I dont remember how old Kayla was. But one one time I was visiting and her Grandma Marian told me that Kayla had 'one dimple' because she was 'half mine'. It may seem silly to everyone else, but that is one of my favorite memories :)

I love getting to share her with Maria-shes beyond generous with letting me have her all the time! Being a Nina is the best ever!

Flash Back

Can it really be called a flash back if I didnt remember it until now? Today I was driving on the freeway and made a simple lane change.

For some reason as I changed lanes I can a 'flash back' of my car accident in 2006. Until that moment I had never remembered the feeling of them impact. Why now? It was so real it was like it happened right then. It took me a second to realize that my head really hadnt just whipped back and forth on my neck and there was no impact.

It was so real that my teeth hurt from it. I really dont know why it happened at that moment but it did. And it was a real as if it was happening.

The doctor in the ER told me that second would probably never come back to me cause of the trauma...and it didnt, for 2.5 years!

I cant access my photo's of the accident right now, but I will come back and post them on this entry later.

Kayla Singing

Kayla loves Barney, and though Ive never liked Barney I have learned to tolerate it for her sake. In this video I caught Kayla looking at a book and singing the Barney song. Though I dont love the song...I love listening to her sing.
